OAK TREE OPRY

The Oak Tree Opry is located on Main Street in Anita, Iowa. Exit-70 off Interstate-80 puts you very nearly at it's front door. Less than a mile from the Lake Anita State Park, with full electric and water hook-ups, it's a delightful entertainment center for those who like their music a little softer, a little more entertaining, a little more meaningful, and a little more country. Started by Bob & Sheila Everhart in 1995, it has continued to be a focal point for high quality performers with a large appreciative audience.

Shows are usually held every other Friday night. Normal program ticket prices are $7. Some shows sell out with reserved seats highly recommended at $10. Please call 712-762-4363 to make your reservations. Doors open at 6pm, Showtime 7pm. Expect to see regular performers Bob & Sheila Everhart; Rick & Harriette Andersen; Marge Lund; Francis Hahn; and others on a regular basis.

The concession stand serves hot dogs, polish sausages, popcorn, coffee, soft drinks, candy, and other food items.

The Weathervane Cafe, just across the street is open for lunch, and evening meals can be obtained at the Redwood Steak House less than a mile west. There is a small motel in Anita, the Grand Anita Motel.
